Jessica works as a real estate agent, and the owner of the house hired Jessica’s agency to sell it. The unknown owner lets Jessica and her family stay in the house so that she can video film the interior and prepare it for the listing. In A HOUSE ON THE BAYOU, Jessica (Angela Sarafyan), a realtor, has just discovered that her husband John (Paul Schneider), a creative writing teacher, is having an affair with one of his students. As John expresses remorse and a willingness to fix their marriage, Jessica decides to travel with John and their 14-year-old daughter Anna to a dream home in rural Louisiana that Jessica is trying to sell.
